We use Zoom and Google Hangouts but mostly Zoom. We used to use Hangouts always because we’re a remote team and we’re on video the whole day. Now people have decided to have a room all day on Zoom. We still use Hangouts for one-on-one and ad hoc meetings and sometimes for meetings for people outside of the company. We usually use Zoom because it’s a little more professional but they both work.

Zoom definitely has the best quality but we have had issues with downloads and installation. We started with Zoom but realized with their cross-platform compatibility that it's impossible to work with when working with enterprise clients.

We use Zoom or Appear.in for video. Appear.in is great tool that doesn’t require accounts and allows instant screen sharing and video chat. Zoom is a bit more reliable and we love the feature that you can call into the room with a normal number. Even in a place with bad internet you can participate in the call with great audio.

We use Zoom for meeting coordination. It’s similar to other tools, and works as well as Uber, Hangouts and Skype.

We have as many internal communication tools as the number of people we have. Anything at that point in time that gets the call done. We have used Zoom. It depends on what the person on the other line is using. I think a lot of these tools’ quality has gotten better over time. I think Google Hangouts and Meet is good. We use it for a weekly demo day that 40 people are on.

We tested a lot of web conferencing tools and Zoom is the most stable. We found it less patchy and had smoother calls.

We’re very happy with Zoom. We’ve tried a lot of different options and it’s worked really reliably.

We use Zoom for product demos, trainings, and virtual client meetings. We’ve tried a number of similar platforms and Zoom has the most reliable audio and video stability.

Zoom is great for video meetings.

Zoom’s product is amazing for conference calls. We’ve been using Google Hangouts and Skype, but Zoom’s quality is the best hands down!

Zoom's dial-in option is great--it makes it clear for every participant how to join the meeting.

For sales demos we use Zoom. It’s a much more reliable and stable solution than other tools. It’s also much more robust. Our sales team has tried out Appear.in and Join.me, but they had a lot of issues. You can’t have any issues with a sales call, so these tools have to work. Overall, we’re very happy with Zoom.

The video is better in Zoom.

Zoom has an integration with Slack that allows us to initiate video calls in Slack.

We found that most video conferencing tools fail when you try to connect more than three people. Zoom is able to do this very efficiently and it is low cost and reliable. It is easy to set up so we do not spend 15 minutes at the beginning of each conference trying to get everyone connected. We tried at least ten different tools including Google Hangout, Skype, and join.me. We feel that Zoom is the most efficient.

Zoom is great for video conferencing.

Zoom is great for conference calls. We have offices in Estonia and the U.S., and we’ve found that Zoom is much smoother than Skype or Google Hangouts for conference calls. And for context: there are more than 10 members of Skype alumni on our team, including yours truly.
Head of Marketing - Pipedrive
We also use Zoom for video calls. It has a remote control, which Skype does not.

... we’ve started using Zoom, which is great for our peer groups. We needed a solution that was more consistent and capable of providing a high-quality group video chat experience.
