For product tracking we use GitHub and Waffle.io. Waffle is a nice project management tool on top of GitHub.

With Waffle you do not have to duplicate your efforts: your work already exists in GitHub, and Waffle adds a simple project management layer on top of that work.

We use Waffle, layered on top of GitHub, for product and tech projects.

Waffle is simply a card-based organizational interface for GitHub issues that makes everything a lot more organized visually. It is currently completely free, which is awesome, and works perfectly. You can create your own buckets for issues, like Backlog, Ready to Start, Check Point 1, etc. and when someone is done with an issue and it’s ready for the next stage, you can simply drag and drop the issue into another bucket.

The good thing about Waffle is that it integrates with GitHub, so it’s like any GitHub tool. We use it to track productivity. It syncs well with GitHub for different reports.

We used to use Trello, but we’ve moved to a company called Waffle. It’s like Trello, but every card is a GitHub issue.
