It’s super useful and without it we would be lost. Not using a CRM with what we’re doing would be impossible.

I don’t love Streak. I think that it can work for a sales team, but what we need in our company is not a tool that does linear relationships, but relationship management. We have relationships with a lot of partner organizations that we work with in a variety of different ways and we don’t need to move them along a pipeline.
Co-founder & President - JustFix
Streak integrates with Gmail which is nice, but some people in our company have upgraded to Google Inbox and Streak has yet to integrate with it. This is a problem.
Co-founder & CTO - Wellthy
Streak so far seems to be efficient.

I use a little bit of Streak because I like the eye icon that shows which emails were read which is very useful.
Co-founder & CEO - Roadmunk
The sales team loves Streak. I think one of the issues with these tools is to find the right tool that people actually use. Streak, between ease of use and features, found the right balance, at least for us at this stage.
Founder & CEO - Qardio
Streak is awesome! What we realized for CRMs is that you will always need to do manual data entry, regardless of how well the CRM is integrated with the tools you use (like Gmail).
Co-founder - Beau
On Streak, I use only the extension that allows me to know when someone read my emails.
Founder - Vicky Virtual
I use Streak for email templates.
Co-founder & CEO - Process Street
Streak is awesome because it integrates with Gmail. With it, we can personalize email blasts with tags, the person name, etc. It is a good way to scale your emailing.
Founder & CEO - Do
Streak helps me see which emails have been read and not read. It’s amazing. If I’m trying to work on a deal, I can see how important this deal is to other companies by how many people open it.

I tried Streak, because it was integrated with Gmail, but it would not let me load Hangouts. The issue might have been addressed at this point, but I did not go back to it.

We use Streak. I love it. It integrates very well with Gmail.
Founder - PeachDish
We started using Streak since it was significantly more lightweight and it was super easy to get setup. Streak integrates with Gmail, and basically provides sales lead information and sales pipeline information directly inside of Gmail. This made it much easier for our small sales team to coordinate demos and close customers.
Co-founder & CEO - Nitrous
I love Streak! I love it because it lives in Gmail, and I love Gmail. I also love Streak because I love Excel, and Streak looks very similar to Excel. Streak makes it really easy to see what's going on and dive into the emails, alongside Gmail’s great ability to search your inbox. There’s no search like Gmail; it’s super powerful.
Co-founder & CEO - Doughbies
We used to use Streak, but it ended up being quite expensive as we scaled. And Streak didn’t have the functionality that we wanted in the end, so we made the decision to switch back to Salesforce. It doesn’t have a great interface, but it integrates with our applicant tracking system, which is one of the reasons we switched back. It’s also easier to find developers that know how to work with Salesforce. And surprisingly, it’s not more expensive than Streak. In the end, we decided to go with what’s more well-known.
Co-founder & CEO - PowerToFly
We’re a little different than other SaaS companies because we’re a marketplace. We use Streak for PR and media relations, and our homegrown CRM tools for user relations.
Co-founder - BuildZoom
We use Streak because our business development team is intense, in terms of inbound requests. But we’re not using anything full-featured yet for a CRM.
Founder & CEO - Good&Co
We use Streak. It’s not as powerful, but also not as expensive, as Salesforce.
Co-founder & CEO - Blue Bite
I love Streak. And I especially love that we haven’t paid a penny for it! Streak has some great features included, like tracking email openings and reminding yourself to respond after a month. I used to use Boomerang, and now I get the same functionality as a side feature for free. We could use the tool more if we paid for the premium level, and we wouldn’t have to move things manually, but we’re getting enough value from it now, even at the free level. I highly recommend it.

The Streak plug-in for Gmail works great for different types of lead generation for us – everything from mentor outreach, Fellow support, company partners, and candidate recruitment.
COO - Venture for America
A major benefit with using Streak is that it lives in your Gmail. If you’re already doing a lot of email exchanges via Gmail, it’s really nice to have an add-on that lives in your email program. I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts in Gmail, and Streak supports them too. It’s very easy to do things in Streak, such as snoozing emails. I rapidly parse through each e-mail in my inbox, and the ones that I want to be reminded about at a later time, I quickly snooze and then move on. Snooze is my favorite functionality with Streak, and I even like it even more than Boomerang. Being able to set up pipelines is also nice. For example, if you’re corresponding with prospective investors, it’s helpful to create a pipeline to track where in the process you are, and what the next steps are with the various prospective investors. You can quickly tie each e-mail with a particular investor to the relevant “Streak Box”, and you can also manually input phone call and in-person meeting minutes.

A huge advantage of Streak is that it integrates directly into Gmail. Literally, on the left-hand side of my Gmail account, I see my pipelines. Streak is a very simple CRM, and their pipeline tool is very simple and straightforward. For a more sophisticated sales team, you wouldn’t want to use Streak; the admin and reporting functionality are quite weak. We’ve used Pipedrive in the past, and it’s a better system for sales teams in my view, but Streak was integrated directly into Gmail, so we chose them.

We use Streak for all of our email communications, and it's great. We use it all the time. We have like 40-50 email templates to use, and can track when everything is happening with our customers. We can get warnings when people don't open their emails, or we can see exactly when they opened their emails. It's great for us because we're so focused on personal communication.
Founder & CEO - Founder Shield
Streak is good for us because we're so small. We don't need heavy-duty customization like Salesforce would have. Once we have more employees, we plan to move to something a bit stronger, but right now Streak works well.
Co-founder & COO - Castle
We love that Streak is so lightweight and lives inside of your existing inbox. The features are actually really good. We’re email power users, so it suits us. At this point, it's just premature for us to have a full-blown CRM.
Co-founder - Tuckerman & Co.
I've actually gotten really into Streak! I think it's a excellent and intuitive in-email option. I live in my inbox, so it's right there and just keeps me on top of everything. I've been very happy with it.
Founder & President - Upraised Learning
Initially, it was pretty hard to figure out how to use Streak. It came highly recommended, and the first thing you see with it is that your emails are tracked really well. You see how many of your emails are opened, when they were opened, stuff like that. But I used labels in Gmail extensively, so it was hard for me to understand what exactly Streak did. Their pipelines are like a second order of labeling, so it was just a bit confusing and hard to get started. But once you see how it works, it's just so much better than spreadsheets. You still need other tools like Google Docs to collaborate, but I've really liked Streak.
