Fabric was initially a startup called Crashlytics, now it’s part of the Twitter ecosystem; they provide crash reporting and debug assistance for front end apps like iOS and Android. It’s free, and backed by Twitter. They have a phenomenal dashboard view and high level analytics. Also, they have a very nice “Daily Dashboard” that we use regularly that reports certain metrics such as DAU, MAU, session length, # of crashes, etc. I like them because with Google Analytics or Mixpanel, the information is very buried, you have to go click certain cohorts or something in order to find it. Of course, Fabric/Crashlytics is not the place for drill down. We then resort to GA or Mixpanel when we need to drill down more. The other benefit is that it is free!
