We have JIRA and Intercom integrated into Slack. We get Intercom notifications in Slack, and are able to respond quickly. Everyone sees when a customer starts up a chat, and we can all see who responds first, and see who has already responded. We used to use Telegram, and they were great, but they do not have as many features as Slack.
I really like Intercom. They have a different model than others in that they don’t ask for an email address when a customer starts talking to you for support. This can be annoying at times, but the main purpose for customer service should not always be to get their emails. So we’re trying this out for now, and so far it’s been good.
We have a part-time bookkeeper and she manages everything in QuickBooks Desktop. Our accountant is also happy with it. The desktop version is more flexible than the online version, and you can take files and open them on different computers, which they like.
We’re currently using BDB Payroll. We want to change to a better payroll solution eventually, but it’s easier to stay with them for now. One of our accountants recommended them to us. A huge pro with going with them is that I can call them any time and someone will help me. They are extremely responsive and easy to contact.
