Woopra lets you analyze your traffic. It’s a very complex software and we use the free version. I didn’t look at many others--I found this and I thought it would work for us. It has the possibility to do funnels and allows you to see among the people that came from each traffic source which ones became a lead.
We used to use Podio. Podio does all kind of things but it was a little overdone for our needs. We were only using the channels so we ended up switching to Slack. One of the things I love about Slack is that it works very well on mobile.
I really like Intercom because it has great chat functionalities. It integrates the help desk functions with the communication channels. We switched from Zendesk because Intercom allows us to share in the chat any article directly with our users. They said that they implemented a feature that would share articles automatically based on the conversation but we still haven’t seen it.
MailChimp is simple and integrated with Pipedrive, our CRM. It is also integrated into our website which helps create a workflow. It also integrates with our own software, SalesWings.
Earlyhire is a Swiss specific recruiting website. It’s more a platform than a software tool. It is helpful because it allows you to post job ads and mark the responses as dealt with. If you get 50 applications, for example, it’s nice to see who are the ones that you already contacted.
SalesWings provides a very easy way to see when leads visit on your website, understand what they are interested in and see who is interested. It allows website tracking with powerful lead scoring. Lead scoring is measuring the interest of the leads that you are getting, analyzing them and giving it a score according to the likelihood of closing. Often startups do not have the money and resources to buy tools like Marketo. Also, in order to use HubSpot or Marketo, companies have to completely change their software stack. SalesWings instead intuitively upgrades any kind of tool that you have. For example, it can be used in combination with MailChimp, most landing page software, and your email. It is a great way to enhance your software stack.
We use Hootsuite for monitoring. It is not as practical as Buffer for scheduling, but list management is not so good in Buffer so we use both.
Socedo allows you to search Twitter profiles based on different keywords and automatically contact them. It follows the profiles automatically and it will send a personalized message if they follow back. With it, we were able to contact more than 200 people at once.
