Google Analytics is free, which is great (as a start-up, we love free!!). While GA provides use insights, the interface is not always conducive to discovery. For example, sometimes I forget how to obtain a certain analytic and have to take the time out to search for it again.
We have a WordPress website but have held off on creating a blog outside of the “News” section of our site. Focusing on functionality of the e-commerce experience has been our first priority.
We are using MailChimp at the moment, but as we grow we might move on to something else. We enjoy Campaign Monitor as we are very design-focused, and the platform provides more opportunities to customize email and brand content to align with our design point-of-view.
We are using UberConference--it’s free and convenient--even though it’s kind of a legacy thing.
WooCommerce is a great plugin for WordPress that enable e-commerce functionalities.
Fiverr is a freelance marketplace where you can bid on a project. Every bid starts at 5 USD. It is very focused on Design and as with all freelance marketplaces you have to interview the applicants.
Our team loves Basecamp and we use it to streamline projects and organize conversations and tasks. We’d certainly enjoy some additional functionality with the levels of organization but the redesign of Basecamp 3 is solid!
