InsightSquared is a really powerful tool. It gives us great insights and provides a dashboard. Depending on the type of business that you are in, you have to consider what tools you are willing to spend the most on. InsightSquared is the most expensive tool in our stack. We started looking at it only after our series A. If your business is into scaling revenues, something like InsightSquared becomes a really valuable tool.
We use Zendesk to handle the questions that are not related to technical support.
JIRA Service Desk is really great. Our engineering team lives in JIRA, and JIRA Service Desk allows our customer service team to have a really strong interface with the engineering team. It is really important for a team to centralize the primary stack as much as possible. The more you can leverage the capability of a single tool, the less master record data problems you will have.
We use Epicor to manage warehousing and shipping. With it, you can deeply connect end-to-end your operational workflow. The system that manages the operations is mission critical for any manufacturing company. Epicor is high maintenance, but very powerful.
