We use Facebook Analytics for app analytics along with Mixpanel--it is very straightforward and easy to use.
We use New Relic for application performance and infrastructure.
Mixpanel is great. Collecting and retrieving data is very important for medical. You need to be able to search symptoms or find out if your insurance covers certain services. We have a high volume of data and sometimes it takes months to push all the data to Mixpanel.
We adopted RelateIQ, which is part of Salesforce. In a short time we increased from 4 employees to 35 employees mostly on the sales side. Our backend development integrates with account management. Salesforce is the only option as you scale.
We use Slack because we have remote teams in Dubai, India, and Poland. It is good and effective. If we were looking to cut spending, it would probably be the first tool to go, as it is not so essential. We would move the communication to JIRA for our developers. All our sales discussions are already on Salesforce.
In the UAE, the issue is that the banking sector is a little more closed, so there is no automatic downloading of the charges and a lot of accounting ends up being manual work. QB is good because it integrates with Salesforce.
We are doing HR automation all in the UAE. We manage all the employee documents. We extract data from scans, which improves data accuracy and eliminates the need for typing. We do lead management, and we are about to come out on the next launch with additional services: for example, if you are an employee, you can notify if you are sick through our app and scan doctor letters.
In the UAE, we have more of a closed system, so we cannot use something like Stripe. There are four providers here that offer that service. The one that we use is from the National Bank from Abu Dhabi--it is called MiGS.
Our marketing team uses Asana.
We use JIRA for bug tracking. We were on Pivotal but we moved to JIRA. We have around 15 people, all working on several projects and they were not happy with the user experience provided by Pivotal Tracker. JIRA satisfies 90% of the employees.
